• No. Washington is a direct-access state, therefore, you do not need a referral to receive treatment from a physical therapist. However, If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, we encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to your first visit to determine if a referral or pre-approval is required.

  • I choose to be an out of network provider, so that we, as a therapist client team, have the flexibility and autonomy to decide the type, duration and frequency of your sessions, as well as how long to continue therapy. I get to spend time doing what I love, treating patients as well as attending courses for continued learning. Also, because Padden Creek Physio does not bill insurance, I am able to provide preventative, wellness and performance enhancing services as well as long term maintenance that is not ‘medically necessary’.

  • It depends on your specific policy and deductible.  The best way to tell for sure is to call your insurance company and ask if they reimburse for out of network providers. I am happy to provide a superbill that you submit to your insurance company, for reimbursement according to their policy.

  • Initial Evaluation and Treatments (APPROX 55 min): $120
